Отборът на Вихрен стартира подготовката си за пролетния дял от шампионата на Югозападната трета лига. Тимът от Сандански пръв от всички отбори в Пиринския край започна в снега. Наставникът Здравко Лазаров изведе 20 футболисти, от които двама вратари на първото занимание. В тренировката се включи и звездата на отбора Даниел Златков, който се възстановява след контузия.
Три са новите попълнения засега – Димитър Калчев (от Локомотив Горна Оряховица), Иван Лазаров (юноша на Локомотив Пловдив) и Георги Младенов (юноша на Славия и Левски Раковски). Напусналите играчи от клуба са: Боби Хазуров, Божидар Станчев, Стефано Кунчев, Мирослав Марчев и Стоян Десподов. Почти сигурно от Сандански си тръгва и Денис Цолев, който е желан от Локомотив Горна Оряховица.
Вихрен ще изиграе 7 контролни срещи, които ще се играят на терена в Сандански:
